Experiential Learning

Children are naturally curious, making new discoveries by interacting with each other and the world around them.  At Edisford, we believe in nurturing this type of experiential learning through:
 

  • imaginative role-play
  • outdoor activities
  • exploration of the surrounding natural environment
  • expression through art, music and dance
  • first-hand experiences for English 
     

 These are absolutely essential and form an integral part of our children's education.

 

Through all ages, from Nursery to Year 6, experiential learning is embedded in our children's learning opportunities and experiences.  This can be through our pioneering Endeavours scheme (Flairs and Eddy Teddies for younger children), our impressive productions in Performing Arts, continuous provision in Early Years or our highly imaginative first-hand experiences for writing in English.
