KS1 Clitheroe Castle Trip
Children in Year 1 and 2 visited Clitheroe Castle on Thursday 19th September as part of their King of the Castle history topic. The weather was glorious and children were extremely excited to be setting off on a trip so early in the year. Activities undertaken during the visit included: construction of their own motte and bailey castles using sand, an introduction to heraldry and a tour of the keep and battlements. Behaviour and attentiveness were absolutely impeccable and this was remarked upon by the castle team. Well done, Year 1 and 2!
