Our Uniform

As part of our ethos - 'own it!' - we are asking that every piece of your child's uniform be clearly labelled with their name. We will be checking this in the first week of school and if it does not have a name label, we will be notifying you. This should stop the accumulation of lost property in school encourage children to 'own it!' - taking responsibility for ourselves and our belongings.

Uniform Details

Trousers, shorts and skirts - grey

Navy blue polo shirt with school's logo.

White shirt and navy/gold striped school tie for Year 6 pupils only.

Navy blue jumpers with school's logo.

Blue and white checked gingham summer dresses.

We are very flexible with regards to uniform; children may wear a pair of earrings in school.  However, these must be taken out for P.E. lessons - by the child before P.E. or by the parent before school.

Our House PE t-shirts come in four different colours:

Doomfang             Green

Nightfury             Red

Skullion                Blue

Smaug                 Purple

There are no logos on the PE t-shirts - just the word 'EDISFORD' printed in capital letters across the back.  If you are new to our school, please check your House colour with your class teacher before purchasing.

Please note that from September 2021, we are asking that children in Reception, Year 1 and

Year 2 arrive at school already wearing their PE kits on PE days. Parents will be notified of their child's PE days during the first week of school. This will mean PE lessons can start promptly, making them more purposeful.

Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be expected to bring their kits at the beginning of each half term and take them home at the end of each half term for washing. Each item must be labelled - including trainers - we will check this in the first week. Teachers will notify you of your child's PE days - please ensure that your child has their kit.

PE kits for autumn/winter will include:

house colour t-shirt, school jumper, navy tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
