• Phenomenal New House Pennants!

  Our phenomenal new House pennants were unveiled in Friday's House Assembly! We think you'll agree that Mrs Pye and her team of artists have done a simply outstanding job!! These wonderful pennants will be used in House Assemblies and on special occasions, such as Sports Days. 

   

  A huge vote of thanks to Mrs Pye for her superbly creative work on this project and to the young Year 5 artists who designed the mystical dragons! Such creativity and teamwork really do sum up what Edisford is all about!

• Non-Uniform Day: £1.00 in Change!

  We will be holding a non-uniform day on Friday 5th April.  We would greatly appreciate donations of £1.00 in change.  It would be greatly beneficial to our children to be able to manipulate real money during money-related maths lessons.

• Reception Class Parents' Afternoon

  Mrs Holden and Mrs Walsh are holding a Reception Class Parents' Afternoon on Thursday 4th April, 2019, from 1pm to 5pm.

• Red Nose Day Fun

  Children were delighted to have their noses painted red for charity this morning! At Edisford, we are actively endeavouring to reduce our use of polluting plastic and children all agreed that this was an excellent way to show our whole-hearted support for Comic Relief! 

   

  Many thanks to Mrs Darnell and her lovely People Skills group for organising this! 

  

• House Pennant Designers

  Mrs Pye and Year 5 have recently held a design competition to create dazzling dragon images for our House pennants.  The winning design for each House has been printed onto fabric by the Clitheroe Hoody Marvelous team - we thank them for their kind gesture in making no charge.  The next step will be for Mrs Pye and her band of creators to quilt the images before embedding them into a larger pennant design.  We can't wait to see the finished products!  A huge well done to our wonderful artists!
