World Book Day
Year 6 children were given the task of designing books for Year 1. Each Year 6 child was paired with a Year 1 child, they then interviewed their partner and found out a little more about them. The focus of the book was to include something that interested their Year 1 partner. On World Book Day the Year 6's read their stories to Year 1 and as you can see from the photographs, it was a great success! Year 1 were then presented with their own personalised book to keep.
Year 6 received thank you cards from the Year 1 children.
