Fire! Fire!
Nursery and Reception children learnt all about fire safety on Friday morning 12th October when Mr Grimshaw, one of our parents and a Lancashire Fire Service firefighter, kindly came into school with a fire engine.
Children practised crawling and keeping low to avoid smoke inhalation, before going outside to visit the fire engine itself. They were even able to take a turn with the powerful water hose!
Well done to Mrs Blackmore for taking on the role of trainee firefighter! We think she rather looks the part!
