Confidence. Persistence. Getting Along. Organisation. Resilience.
As part of their Living Things and their Habitats Science topic, year 4 visited Primrose Nature Reserve to see the wildlife that lives in our local area. They identified lots of different animals and their habitats, and even spotted a grey heron! We also discussed the impact of the Nature Reserve on local wildlife and its aim to promote biodiversity in Clitheroe. Interestingly, children spotted several sluices that were originally used to control the flow of water from the nearby mill. We had a great afternoon and the children represented school excellently!
