The government states that:

 

"Every state-funded school must offer a curriculum which is balanced and broadly based and which:

  • promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils at the school and of society
  • prepares pupils at the school for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life."

Through our Endeavours Awards and areas of motivational learning, Edisford children are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and their actions.  This ethos promotes a deep-rooted understanding of a range of essential life skills, which will stand children in good stead now and in later life.
