Flair for French
In Flair for French, ten Year 1 pupils have been introduced to aspects of the French culture and language. They have wholeheartedly embraced this experience and had great fun in the process. Children have learnt vocabulary for:
- basic greetings
- numbers 1 to 10
- colours
The confidence levels of the group have been astounding and their 'have a go' attitude has enabled them to pick up words and phrases in the foreign language with the greatest ease. They have built on their vocabulary and pronunciation each week through games, songs and activities.
Their 4-week programme culminated in a fabulous French food tasting and a performance for other Flair groups and teachers. This video is available to view in our Video Resource Centre (link below). As you can see, they did fabulously well! Bravo, les enfants! Nous sommes fiers de vous!
