Just to confirm that Jamcoding are unable to run the Minecraft club this half term. This is because the minimum number of participants was not reached.
Thank you for your understanding.
Dear Year 3 pupils,
Congratulations on winning the tidying treat in school before half term. Collectively, you have also achieved a further 3,000 Class Dojo points! Well done!
As a result, you have been awarded a Golden Time afternoon on Friday 1stMarch.
Weather permitting, we will hold an outdoor ‘wheelie’ activity (bikes, scooters). Please ensure you bring your helmet (no helmet=no wheels).
We will also hold an indoor games activity. A selection of board games will be on offer in the classroom. With your parents’ permission, you may also choose to bring in a game or toy from home. Please don’t bring mobile phones, tablets or toy weapons of any kind.

As some of you may know, our lovely Carole Matthews, leader of our outstanding Rascals' Retreat out-of-hours club, is retiring on Friday 15th February.
Carole has always led the club with enthusiasm, energy and passion and Edisford children love the time they spend there at both ends of the school day.
It is no coincidence that, under Carole's leadership, the club has received the highly acclaimed 'Outstanding' grade from Ofsted. We know that you will join with us to thank her for everything she has done for the many children who have spent countless hours playing, learning, socialising and simply having fun at the club.
Carole, we wish you the happiest of retirements - filled with wonderful sunshine holidays! Please come back and see us!
Everybody at Edisford x
Children will be changing into their House P.E. t-shirts for assembly on Friday morning this week. Please ensure that they have their P.E. kits in school every day this week.
Many thanks.
The Edisford Team
Please note that the date of our non-uniform day for this week is now Thursday 14th February.
This applies to all year groups, except Year 1, who should still come to school in their Victorian outfits as planned.
Thank you for your continued support.

Uniform Bank
Dear Parents,
We are looking for donations of our Edisford School uniform. If you have any reusable uniform items that your children have grown out of, including PE shirts, then please bring them into the office. We will host ‘Uniform Bank Days’, where parents can come into school and pick up used uniform items, for a small donation of their choice. Donations will go towards the School Fund.
The aim of the Uniform Bank is to help parents keep the costs of school uniform to a minimum (as we know uniforms can be expensive), and to recycle unwanted items.
Please check the website frequently for upcoming Uniform Bank days.
