Year 2 Great Fire of London

Re-enactment Day!

This week, Year 2 children were extremely excited to witness the re-enactment of this historical event, when when a similar fire started in Thomas Farriner’s bakery on their Pudding Lane! They then returned to class to begin writing their newspaper articles recounting the event.

We have really enjoyed learning all about the Great Fire of London this term! We have designed and constructed our own version of a house from 1666 to form Pudding Lane, where the fire originated. What will happen next...?
