Year 2 Science
Our science topic in Year 2 this term is 'Animals, including Humans'. We will be looking at animals, including humans, and their offspring; how we grow; what animals need to survive and the importance of a healthy diet and exercise.
Year 2 children investigated growth by comparing their handspan measurement with that of a child in pre-school. We found that Year 2 children's hands were larger than those of children in pre-school.
We had a wonderful time visiting pre-school - thank you to Mrs Calton and all of the children for helping us with our investigation.
