Year 4 Trip To The Grand
As part of their sound topic, Year 4 have been learning about how sound is made, how it travels and how we hear! They visited The Grand Studio in Clitheroe to look at some of the sound proofing features there, and also to experiment with recording different sounds using a microphone. Did you know that studios have a ‘live room’ that is totally soundproofed? Year 4 learned that they could only hear each other if the microphone was switched on and they used the controls to speak to each other. How interesting!
